Rear suspension components (Carbahn vs SPL)
I'm wanting to upgrade my rear suspension toe links and trailing arms. I'm considering both Carbahn and SPL. I've got a history with the Dinan toe links and traction links on my F82 and was pleased with them, so I lean toward Carbahn. I'm also leaning Carbahn because of the sealed rubber boots.
But, I didn't track my F82. I am tracking my G82. I've heard good things about SPL, so I'm cross shopping: SPL Toe Links with Eccentric Lockout and SPL Rear Traction Links versus Carbahn Toe Link/Traction Link Kit with Carbahn Eccentric Bolt Locker Cost really isn't an issue, they're close enough that it doesn't matter to me. Does anybody have any insights/opinions that might sway be toward SPL over Carbahn?

I say go for SPL. The adjustment mechanism of SPL is a big plus. On the carbahn arms it seems like they are still using the dual jam nuts. On the SPL you just deal with the set screw. And with a proper rod end like the FK rod ends that SPL is using, you don't need a rubber boot. Unless maybe you will encounter salt? The FK rod ends are teflon lined so they're very robust. I have the full SPL catalog on my car and its a great daily driver. Feel free to ask any questions about my setup!
