Caliper Color

Hey guys, I saw on some individual builds, that there was a silver caliper option like on the F87 M2 Comp.
Is that all the choices?
Blue
Black
Red
Silver
Gold (ccb)
If anyone knows the code for silver can you please post it?

Silver is not an option from the factory. Somone might have redone the color.

Maybe so, I figured since the car was at a dealer it was factory.

There is no silver. Had to have been done aftermarket. Could have been preowned on the dealer lot.

Seems like the color gets drowned out by the rotors.

Went with black myself because the rear calipers are sad looking. Not worth “showing off” in my opinion.

Agree with above. The single piston in the back led me to black. It really does look bad in any bright color(IMO). If Porsche and every other luxury car maker can have 4 piston rear brakes with an electric parking brake then I can’t relate to BMWs excuses...

I was thinking of getting mine done in Khalami Orange to match the interior. The red is a little annoying.

does anyone know if a powder coating company would normally remove and reinstall the callipers or would you need to get that done elsewhere and just give them the callipers?

Any idea on turn around time for letting the pain cure etc?

Yeah I went with black for the same reason.
I did ivory interior so thought silver calipers would look nice but then the rear caliper is a let down. Sticking with black

I also ordered black to hide the pathetic rear caliper. I know it superficial, but I would’ve went for the CCBs if they gave us a nice rear caliper.

I went with Black. Felt red will clash with the purple (Twilight Purple)

Black wheels. They will be noticeable, but very, very subtle.

I love that pop of red behind my black wheels. Also don't feel it clashes with the color but I'm not known to have the most in tune fashion sense either.

I was thinking about maybe some pink calipers to help spice up my black on black. That way, I could claim it as an individual car.

Or if I really want to make people angry, I could put MOPAR on them.

I should have also added with my Tartufo interior, I felt it would be too much. I wish there were more colors to choose from but black will be just fine. I'm very excited & nervous to see how the Twlight Purple looks with Tartufo....it seems very few cars are spec'd with Tartufo interior for some reason.

The pictures of Tartufo I've seen online were all over the place in terms of what shade it really is...so I took a bit of a gamble and went with it.

I don't think you'll have anything to worry about with the interior/exterior color pairing you've optioned.

I really wanted Tartufo but alas I wanted carbon buckets more.
