Pushing with SST valves closed

Can you push the car on an Autocross course with the valves closed via SST valve controller? Going to a course with 100db limit…

I wouldn’t suggest limiting exhaust flow with aggressive engine load/RPM to redline, etc., but that’s just me.

Why not set it to 50% open? Or back to oem setting so the dme controls it.

Perhaps the OP had an aftermarket section swapped in or something, but if it’s stock, this isn’t even a question. Stock exhaust isn’t going to push 100db full on and if it did and they kicked him off the track, that place deserves to have nobody show up for their events. Lol

I have a PSI midpipe and it’s fairly loud even with oem valve settings

It actually should be no problem. Our exhausts flow a ton, even 100% through the rear box will do little to the backpressure between head and turbos.
