Ordered my Irish Green on Tartufo 2024 M3 Competition XDrive in late August and just received it last week. Only additions so far are 20% tint all around and CQuartz Pro ceramic coating.

First impressions:

• Absolutely love the Irish Green... it was worth the wait
• Car feels very fast and responsive already (still in break-in period so haven't fully opened it up yet)
• Harmon Kardon stereo is better than I expected after reading a lot of negative comments on here about it
• Same with the stock exhaust.. sounds a lot less raspy and has a better tone in person than I was expecting... maybe I'm crazy and like the ASD?

Future mods:

• Equal length midpipe
• Gold CS wheels or yellow calipers with the stock black wheels

I tried to take several pictures of the Irish Green paint in different lighting so you can see how it changes.

Beautiful combo, congrats! The gold CS wheels would definitely look stunning on it.

And yeah, I agree about the impression of the Harman Kardon system. I also think it's much better than you might think from some of the comments here.

Irish is a great color. Historical Porsche color and it works really well on the G80! And especially since you paired it with the best interior for it. LOL.

Agree on the HK system in the G80/82/83.

But it’s still weird that the HK system in the i4 is somehow much better. Not sure what they did to improve it in the i4 but it’s definitely a grade higher in quality (better amp?)

I had a rental B9 A4 over the weekend with the B&O system and it was considerably better than the HK in my G80 :/

This is simply awesome. I'm 1/4 Irish & 100% approve of it. Although I would've went the PPF route, that's great that you already have some protection on the brand new paint. This is great eye candy while you're woking out in the garage!

Such a great color. Wow. Only other green I’d consider outside IOMG.

For HK, I think for the price of our cars nowadays, there’d be plenty folks here that would pay for a more premium system if it were an option. HK is OKAY. Passable. But as another commented, the mid-tier B&O systems I’ve had on my previous vehicles (A5 SB, Q7, Q8) are indeed higher performers.

Also, as for the gold CS wheels. You might also consider the champagne colored (or whatever it’s called) 1000m wheels from BMW. Perhaps a cleaner looking spoke pattern.

Man I went back and forth on PPF for a long time... I read a bunch of threads on here about it. I ultimately decided against it because I was worried about seeing lines, worried about potential razor cuts, and it was pretty damn pricey for anything other than partial coverage with lines showing. I usually only keep my cars 2-3 years, with 4 being the longest I've kept one yet. I may regret it when I notice my first rock chip, or may regret not doing it if this car ends up holding my attention for a long time (which it might!).
