2024 M3 MT6: Drivers Seat feels a Bit Off
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I received my car about three weeks ago and it has taken a little time to get used to everything about it. Love about 95% of it. What has not begun to feel normal is the driver's seat. The right side bolster sticks out noticeably by feel, making solid contact with my right shoulder blade/back of the arm no matter what position or movement I make - turning, shifting, or just cruising down the road. I don't really seem to come into contact with the left-side bolster, only when getting in and out of the car. The gap on the left side seems significant between my left shoulder blade and the bolster. It is almost like the seat is misaligned or twisted. I didn't notice or feel any issues with the front passenger seat. I have tried to dismiss the feeling it but it is just like the princess and the pea! Has anyone else felt this on either side of their seats? Any thoughts on a solution? TIA |

Hmm, that's weird. I personally didn't feel anything like that on my sports seats with the 6MT.
I assume you've found the ideal driving position... do you see any asymmetry on the bolsters? |

I don't see any issues with mine. '23 6MT with Sport seats. I don't think this has anything to do with the transmission. This is not a 6MT vs 8AT thing.

I only ever notice that the lower side bolster on my left seems to be a bit intrusive, but that's probably just because of my physical build. No asymmetry.
You should do some measurements with a level against the side bolster—measuring to the edge of the headrest on both sides of the seat to help judge symmetry.

I'd check in with a chiropractor first. I did earlier this year and it straightened me right up!
