Who has installed Eibach or HAS kit on G82 Xdrive?
I had no issues installing the MSS HAS kit on my G82 rwd. Was a total bitch getting the front struts dropped and to clear the fenders on the M240i. Want to hear about any surprises for the G82 Xdrive.

I just had the KW HAS done on my M3 CS (same front shit as your M4X) and the front wasnt that hard but takes a little longer since you have to remove the strut. Its just more time vs the RWD (I had that G80 too) where one can just swing the strut around.
The same process for my CS X was also done for the non CS 2022 G80X I had too (MSS)... slightly longer labor time but nothing shocking technically.

Ya. I have decided on which type. If the Eibach gives me enough drop then I would prefer using those. However not sure if I will like the drop compared to HAS. I did not like the binding noises that I got with the MSS front springs. Not sure if the KW will have same issue. Will let Vic comment on this in a few months.
To be clear, my question is about self installing on the Xdrive front. |
