millway camber plates installed

millway street camber plates installed, track alignment done, motul 600 fluid flush done. never mind the Vehicle text, their system didn't have G80 xDrive listed.

going to install the speed engineering brake duct setup and cobalt racing pads this coming weekend (probably)

That is some well researched planning my friend. Keep us posted if everything works well, I would of gone de same route (still have same camber plates and brake pads or order) If I would plan to keep the car for awhile.

You had well over 2 degrees camber before the strut tops, that's huge.
Was the car already lowered?

I found it to be in the -1.35 range bone stock. I taught it would be more than that, maybe I should of upper it to -1.6

Xdrive? In your case I would consider it, but I can't recommend much coming from a RWD car.

that car was stock suspension, so the before numbers are how it came from factory, 1600 miles on the clock right now.

going to try this out. car is not daily driver, basically only for canyons and track, so going to start with this and see how this track session goes and adjust as needed.

Any updates how you like the setup, I've heard these ducts can almost make pads last 2x longer, what pads have you ran ?

Has anyone tried dialing in more front camber on the G80 when running road tyres like the 4s's?
I did my first track day in the G80 day and was blown away by its performance.

I have Milways installed and set at 2 degrees, I plan to go a lot more when I run track tyres but in the interim I'm wondering if there is any benefit to dialing in more with the stock Michelins.

Wear lookd pretty even, perhaps a little more outter wear - which would suggest more camber could be useful

In my experience I did not see much adverse effect until -2.5, (would be different if these tires would last 50k miles) after that the accelerated wear becomes a bit more apparent, at -3.0 after 6000km of driving and 5 track days I had major wear on the inside and outside on a G83 (heavy) the inside does take a role when braking hard with more camber.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear with my question.
I was referring to positive effects on the track in terms of lap times going beyond 2 degrees of camber, not wear.
Is it worthwhile on road tyres or are you just not generating enough grip to need anything beyond 2 degrees with road tyres?

I’m impressed you got 5 track days and those road kms out of a set of 4S’s

It was from a set of cup2. On street tires there is not much point in running more than -2.0 because like you said the tires don't grip enough to exploit the camber your giving them. Usually the more tire grip, the more they want camber.

If anyone has any data regarding camber plates and/or coilovers on G8X and their effect on laptimes, it would be greatly appreciated if you could share.
