Visor Label Removal

I know I saw some great posts on removing these ugly stickers, but for some reason search will not reveal them. Any help truly appreciated... (thanks in advance )

pretty much easily a collateral damage with beginner I would say and end up very costly.

A safer solution that you can mask off the label. Then use matching color plasti-dip paint and brush them away in a few layers. You can always remove the paint and re-do again should it gets stuffed up. It came out great.

I got very thin vinyl labels off e-bay... some other forum members used them. It got the job done, and is less noticeable. It's the $10 solution.

I've always removed the sun visor air bag warnings from my BMWs.

I just use 99% Isopropyl Alcohol.

Just used 91% alcohol and it worked great. Used wet double paper towels soaked in 91% and changed every 10 min. (multiple times). The part done this way looks great and after protectant you can't tell the label was there. If you turn it just right in the light, you can just barely make out the thin outline where the sticker was.

Couple observations:

- New labels are VERY thin and may even be some kind of paint or heated on.
- Definitely use new bottle of alcohol (was struggling and this was a game changer)
- Basic label comes of pretty easy, the border is a LOT of work with fresh alcohol and a microfiber cloth (main label 2% of effort, main "glue/residue" 10%, the rest is the border...)
- Don't use fingernail (will change vinyl texture slightly)
- DON'T use Goof Off! (tried a small inconspicuous space and it softens the vinyl and has a polishing effect, even used quickly and rinsed off)

I understand previous labels may be different and visor vinyl may be different. This is a 2022 M4 convertible.

Thanks everybody for all the different ideas - I really appreciate the responses!

Shower Thought: Do UK-market RHD cars also have the label on the passenger side visor? If not, I would just buy the UK part without the label.

Can someone from the UK confirm or deny my shower thought? thanks

I found the M4 labels much harder to remove, so these decals to cover up the labels look professional and unobtrusive.

What size decal did you purchase? I don't have the car yet to measure.

Just order for a BMW. The decals are the same size across models and years.
