Manual????? Yes! See the DCT Vs Manual I'll entertain. But I'm sorry auto vs manual it's not even close. 6MT all day. Keep your track figures and 0-60 times to yourself no one cares. I'm actually excited for this car. I think if bmw does something the noise of the s58 then it'll be a perfect package.

The current rumors are that the next gen C63 AMG is going to be hybrid-electric. It'll be heavier than the G80 M3 for sure though. I just hope that the G80 M3 is going to use a reworked version of the S58 and will sound nothing like the S55.

Seems like Bmw is foregoing 'greener' pastures for straight up gas combustion. And no awd. Glad to see the m3 remain a proper sports sedan with a clutch and rwd. How much longer can Bmw keep this up? If it weighs under the cs, they are really taking it to all the competition as I can't imagine Audi, Merc, or Alfa being able to best those numbers.

All sounds like positive improvements except the size. I get it's just a little bigger, but are people really buying 3 series for extra rear seat legroom and a big trunk? Wish this trend would reverse...

Regardless of the fact that the "regular" auto transmission gets good reviews, I am shocked they would get rid of DCT. But 6MT always, anyway

Also - isn't the m3 getting more hp than the x3m? 480 vs 465? Not that it matters that much. Hopefully competition pack/model is 500

My eyes are getting old, but the only thing that I saw in this story was "drive through a standard-fit six-speed manual gearbox".
Please BMW, please.
