How do you bleed G80 M3 brakes?

Does anyone know how to bleed the brakes without using Ista or a computer?
Can you use a pressure system like Motive and disconnect the battery? Will that work?

I have done my search and the last thing that came up was in mid 2023 that someone “1” was able to do it.

Need help ASAP! Thank you in advance!

I just did a brake fluid flush on my G80 M3 Comp. I did not disconnect the battery but i did leave my keys in the house. Noticed a significant amount of air bubbles when I bled the front left caliper. Subsequently, went to our local track for open. lapping and the brakes felt great

That’s what I heard works…
Disconnect battery.
Pressure bleeder of your choice that fits.
Reconnect battery.
Drive to test.

I have done my homework and hours of research. There are only 2 threads about this and neither was conclusive.

With that said I was able to do it and will start another thread on specifics so others can do it too.

Just like any other German car since back in 2010 or even earlier… pressure bleeder on the master cylinder and stay away from the brake pedal until done. Software will be required if you’re going to bleed the ABS module, but that’s only done if you for some reason bled out the entire system dry, which shouldn’t ever be the case unless you left brake lines off overnight and all your fluid leaked out of the system.

Same setup as the motiv, I picked up the ARES 70921 and it's worked well on all my rigs. It comes w the cap for the M3 and most other recent European cars. It has a handy quick release fitting on the end of the line, so you can pick up just the caps for any other style master cylinder you need.

Would the same principle apply for using a vacuum bleeder (Capri style vacuum bleeder that hooks to an air compressor)? Battery disconnected (or not) and suction out a bunch of old fluid, pour in new fluid into the reservoir and then vacuum fitting on caliper and suck the fluid through? I’m not opposed to getting a Motive setup but I have the Capri vacuum bleeder already and would think that it wouldn’t matter as long as I don’t turn the car on/press the brake and trigger the car thinking there’s a leak etc.
