New Ride in ///M town

Hi All - After selling my M440i to a nice dude on this forum, I was ready for my next ride. I have been waiting for the M5 for sometime. However, after official release, though I liked it a lot I was not sure about how to handle the hybrid, is it going to be good long term. So, not having a plug-in hybrid experience and with uncertainty, I decided to look at something different. Price was a factor too I put a deposit on G60 but that as well did not go through now time for something different!

Many posts on this forum indicated that wait time for M3 is 6 months+ I started looking at dealer inventory to see if I can grab something I like from the lot. Then, I saw a dealer in a neighboring state having an M3 xDrive in stock. I called and immediately put a deposit. Apparently someone placed an order then pulled back last minute

Next day, on February 1st, I went to collect the car. I was really happy with the color, great color even though it was not in my plan earlier; Dravit Grey! No buckets for me (guess why) The window sticker indicated few good options: Shadow line, Carbon Fiber trim, drive recorder, parking assistance, and executive package. These options are beyond what I could've configured if to build the car!

I have put around 200 miles so far, very impressed with the car handling, acceleration, sound, and a lot more. To me, this may be the best ride I owned from BMW since long

Man dravit looks so damn good. Beautiful car!

I’m currently in the position you were in looking for one. Unfortunately there are so few here in the Midwest and 90% of them are black or white.

Congratulations! Dravit Grey looks beautiful when sunlit. I love how it contrasts with the rest of the features. Enjoy!
