AST springs or H&R Super Sport Springs

AST springs or H&R super sport springs? Can’t decide which would be better for my fitment and ride quality on my G80. What spacer size would be best too? I’m thinking 15 mm in the front and 12 or 13 mm in the rear.

15mm in the front will rub. I used 13mm, and it rubbed.

your best bet is 12mm front and rear

We offer and stock both; AST is the more popular for regular springs. H&R is the more popular when it comes to adjustable springs.

i run H&R VTF adjustable springs on my car with 15mm front and rear spacers (i got the RKP fender clearance)

Spacers depend on whether you have the Michelins or the Pirellis. Michelin we do 15F 12R and that doesnt rub. Pirelli we run a 10mm front and 12mm rear. That is if you dont trim out the fender liner louver.

H&R super sports are a tad lower. AST we have done the most of and found they ride nicer.

I am quite happy with my AST adjustable. I run 20mm front and 15mm rear, but have done the front fender liner mod.

AST's are nice. I've had them for like a year now and still happy. No noise or anything.

If you have Michelin's I would do 18f and 12r.

I'm running 15/12 currently and the rear is perfect but front is still a bit sunk imo. I think there's even space to go 20mm up front.

Where do you find this RKP fender clearance mod?

I’m figuring out what spacers to do with the AST springs for a good flush, dropped look. I’m leaning towards 15mm all around and it’s sounding like I’d need the fender mod.

Which would be the best solution for a G82 M4 X-drive?

Just looking for springs and whatever rides closest to stock and will not hurt the shocks/ride the bump stops.

Does there need to be any SW configuration performed by the dealer to account for the lowering springs?

Is one generally considered better than the other for lapping?
