Shop with 6MT Experience

Hey everyone,

I have a short shift kit on order from Ron at AutoSolutions. He’s been making SSKs for BMWs for over 20 years and has started producing them for the G8x platform.

Does anyone know of a shop in the Seattle area that has experience with BMW manuals and with installing short shift kits?

A few shops I’ve reached out to have asked for install instructions. AutoSolutions doesn’t really provide comprehensive install instructions and since the G8x is so new, there aren’t any videos. As a result, I’ve gotten responses back saying that they are not interested in performing the install.

I would call Group2 Automotive in Woodinville, Cantrell Motorsport in Bellevue, and probably Strictly BMW in Bellevue.

Thanks. I ended up reaching out to Achtuning and confirmed they’ve installed these before.
