Was in the same position, was waiting forever for my M3X allocation and started shopping for other cars. Was on the fence with M2, currently #3 on list or another Carrera T (owned a 991.2 T). In the end, I found an amazing deal (under sticker) on a new CT4V Blackwing, and I traded in my Taycan (Caddy gave me even more than Porsche offered).
Zero regrets and the car is amazing and extremely rare. Only 675 manuals (1,500ish) total for 2022.
