Only "true" upgrade from M3/M4 is either a M5 or 911. Anything else has less performance for more $
If you don't want to upgrade, I would stick with M3/M4 and don't look elsewhere.
I see alot of 718 GTS GT4 mentioned here but these are just too slow to be compared to the M3/M4. Their interiors are very outdated too. The only thing that could compete with M3/M4 is the C8 Z06 but it's just not massively available to the public so I don't consider it a true competition
