Depends, as far as pure driving I feel that only one new M3 has been “driving better” than the old one at that’s the E46. It actually felt harder and rawer than the E36 while the other generational shifts has brought a car that felt heavier and more isolated than the prior. I expect this to be another of those. Faster and more comfortable for sure but “drive better”? Maybe with all aspects considered, we’ll see what M-agic BMW can pull off but the rumored traditional AT and AWD will bring challenges for the purists to get used to that’s for sure.
