I took delivery of my base G80 on November 19 and have been driving it on a daily basis, almost exclusively through city traffic.
Personally, I don't understand why anyone would think it can't be used as a daily. If you don't step on the gas a bit harder, you don't even realize what a monster of a car it is. One of the things I love about it is that it does a great job of transforming from a quiet daily to a sports car in a split second.
As I see it, the only issue is the high gas consumption.
