I feel BMW is eventually going to lead the way with HUD. Everyone is focusing on making dashes and screen all pretty but not really touching HUD. I still don't get the fascination with Virtual Cockpit. It's a cool talking point but it's graphics overload. |
Couldn't agree more. Wife has a new Audi Q5 with all singing virtual cockpit but without HUD.
Virtual cockpit I couldn't care about. In fact it isn't that useful. Far too busy. But I miss the HUD which I have on my M340i when driving her Audi. HUD is where it's at. I hardly look at the dash on my M340i
