Why would you not add carbon fiber interior trim if you have the carbon exterior, carbon roof & carbon seats?
I don't think the carbon exterior package would add weight. You're replacing non-CF parts with CF parts (diffuser, mirror caps, lip) so in theory it should be lighter, except for replacing the front mesh with solid pieces which might be slightly heavier. We're talking a pound or two IMO. |
I believe behind the mesh the same air funnels exist on the regular trim cars and the carbon is there to add lightness.... they delete the mesh on the carbon pack so it can be shown off
