Its a pita even to get a tesla for some models. I was going to order the Plaid but got a March 2022 delivery frame. I reached out to unique contact in the organization who found me one in about 4 hours. But that was a "one off" for sure.
Now one can get a Plaid with a December delivery date or so the web says. It fluctuates as Elon flatulates. |

Plaid delivers are about a month now. My brother ordered one beginning of October and scheduled for delivery next week. Musk definitely prioritizes high margin specs which is smart business.
