Note that ordering the M Driver's Package removes the moonroof as an option. According to a BMW page I stumbled across (and failed to bookmark) the moonroof in these cars can blow out at speeds over 155 mph.

I dithered over getting the M Driver's Package, and read all the threads I could find on it. At first I thought there were unstated features included (e.g., beefier components, etc.; I have seen other manufacturers do this) but, so-far, that appears to not be the case for the current BMW M3/M4s.

I hit 165 mph once in my life, on the autobahn. I hit 155 mph once in my life (in a part of "mexico" where everybody speaks american; the same day a good office in a desert region pulled me over for doing 140 and wrote me up for doing 80 in a 70 zone).
