This is perhaps the only thing that irks me about the options. Generally, I think the BMW packages and options are sensibly laid out. But having to pay extra to achieve the drivetrain's top speed? I think that is a horrible idea. I passed on it as 155 is enough for me, and even for tracking that is sufficient for most straight opportunities. But to tell the guy paying 80 - 100k for his car "we need another $2500 for you to hit max speed", that is very off-putting.
