I can say with experience that ceramic coating does NOT make brake dust "just wash off". Does it make it
easier to wash off brake dust? Sorta.
I've got 763M wheels on my current M2 and had them coated before install, but I still have to use wheel cleaner and agitation after a track day or a day on the back roads. The dust finds a magic way to stick to that matte black finish.
