It's a game changer.. and not just for the enjoyment, but primarily for saving the finish from swirls. I like to go one step further and do two coats of foam… first one after initial spray down, foam dwell while I clean wheels, rinse foam and refoam for lubrication to start wash.
I'm also a bit OCD with the process as my car is a Frozen finish.

If I tried to do this here in AZ during most months the foam will have dried on the vehicle by the time I finished cleaning the 2nd or 3rd wheel.
I do like using the foam cannon but from about early May through mid October it means I can't really let the foam dwell on the car for too long. If I won the lottery one of my requirements for a new home would be to have an air conditioned garage that would allow all detailing to be done inside of it.
