Unlike other Autocar preview articles, this one seems to be largely spared from botched facts and outright lies. A couple things are worth commenting on:

- There is no evidence of an M4 GC yet. That does not mean it won't come, but for now this claim should be treated as complete speculation.

- I'm sure its just a typo, but the current M inline six is the S58, not the S52.

Autocar is notorious for getting facts wrong or lying on purpose to increase hits.

Although the rest of the article looks correct (aside from writing "S52" when the author obviously means "S58"), I would treat this claim with skepticism. An M4 GC might make sense, but another possible strategy is to allow the i4 BEV to stand alone as the halo GC model. Also, no evidence of an M4 GC exists yet, whereas the i4 and 4 GC have been testing for well over a year.
