Hi guys I'm from South Africa and got a build in November last year for an M4 AWD ….my car has been allocated an Engine and Vin number.

I though it was on the water and would have arrived by now !

Only to be told by my dealer that's there's a chip shortage for the amplifier and that's what's caused the delay of the car shipping out and the car is ready and waiting on that part in Germany still .

My car has been stuck on final line from the 11 November .

Is there anyone else that has been delayed by this ?

I know there's chip shortages but two months is a bit preposterous for one chip to delay the whole car .
