Let me clarify regarding the plastic parts in the rear-wheel arches : i said all European cars have these but meant ofcourse all European G80 M3 have it. I did not mean that all European cars have it but only the M3 (and also some other models such as M5). It has something to do with the rear-wheels being too wide outside the body of the car which is not allowed in EU law.
US cars do not have the part because for US law it is apparantly not needed.
