i wish i had a pic of me sitting in it that'd make my answer more responsible lol, but just off top of my head now would say the upper cut out def sits at my shoulder height, but a lot of that depends on your seating position

ya X3MC seats are pretty much the same seats as the standard seats in the M3. The carbon buckets are tighter, esp the leg bolsters.
