Well, I finally got the call last Wednesday that my car was ready for pickup. I've already put 900 miles on it since then (Road trip from Chicago to St. Louis and Back) and I am in love. Plenty of reviews on how it drives, but wanted to share as I have a couple of options I haven't seen as common on here.
I was only able to see Tanzanite in the flesh on overcast days, but knew it would pop beautifully in the sun. I also only saw the Tartufo on one M850i in the showroom, but gambled and went with it. It looks wonderful in person, not too orange and not too red. I opted for the shadowline delete as I don't believe black goes well with the navy blue (and its unavoidable with the lower rocker panels). The only thing that I'd consider is getting black tips, but I do enjoy the chrome ones as well. And yep, I got a sunroof! I use it daily, and prefer the natural light on the interior.
I plan to add spacers and 20% tint. I have already done the valve mod, and will think about removing the resonator for an x pipe in the future.
