damn I deleted my comment after 2 minutes to ask another question and you already responded.
I don't think Xenon lights ever had the adaptive option; swirling to light up the corners during turns maybe, but nothing like dimming specific points based on other cars' lights. You have to have LED arrays to accomplish something this sophisticated.
