I'm VERY excited in hearing this news. I am one of our department's Advanced Emergency Vehicle Operator Course instructors. I have hundreds of hours behind the wheel of the crappiest police cruisers you could imagine running high-speed road courses and autocross like courses, teaching new recruits how to drive under emergency conditions. It is amazing how you can control/push 200k mile Crown Vics and Hemi Chargers with worn tires and bad brakes. I'd love a chance to drive similar courses in something designed for it. I'm looking forward to this. I live 20 minutes from the Speedway, sooo convenient.
