M3s have to be easier to get than CT5-V Blackwings. Some BMW dealers have allocations available. Sure, they might charge 5k to get in, but then you have a build immediately. Maybe 300 CT5-V BWs have been delivered since production began.
I have (2) CT5-V Blackwing orders in at MSRP, the first from last September. Neither has been accepted yet by GM. I ordered an M4Comp xDrive 2 weeks ago and had a confirmed build the next day. Car should be done in March. It does not work anything like that with Cadillac.
Also, for all the talk here about port times and delivery... some Blackwing buyers have had their cars finished 2 months ago and they are still awaiting transportation to dealers. These cars are supposedly 100% complete, no stop sales or other purgatory problems!
Stick with your M3s.
