A buddy of mine asked me why I wasn't getting a CT5-V-BW. I said, among other things, that you can't get one. AFAIK, the waiting lists are long, the ADM are high, and although I told Cadillac I was interested, they never bothered to follow-up.

The real reason is that I had a Chevy SS. That's the Australian Holden sedan with the LS6 Corvette engine that (according to the magazines) rivals the wonderful E39 M5. I've owned three of those cars. The SS is no E39 M5.

Actually, in some regards it was better - more reliable, better ride (magnaride suspension) quieter and got better gas mileage. It fell short, like most cars compared to a BMW, in character. It was just... fine. There was no character, no excitement, no novelty to it.

I suspect the same with these Caddys.
