Correct, yes indeed that is the plan. and it has already begun on the M5
(which has a comp model rolled out and a "
first ever M5 CS " variant apparently on the way)
I was just reiterating this new structure as so many people are new to finding it out.. specifically as well for @chongo who was at a loss for why BMW would have a business case for going to a multiple model hierarchy as opposed to option packages
