Only benefit would be if you have a way to power wash the undercarriage everytime you wash the car if you have alot of salt on the roads in the winter. It wont protect it from physical chips but it will make it easier to 'spray' off any contaminants like salt and road grime. Unless it's a garage queen I don't see the point tbh.
