I was holding out on an update until we get that biopsy result. Phase 3 lasts for 2 months and will require some overnight hospital stays due to the medicine that she'll be receiving.
Thankfully she's really been doing great. She's needed two blood transfusions and platelets once during this phase which is very typical. She has had mild, if any, side effects so that's a real blessing. She did end up with a blood clot in her arm which requires her to get 2 blood thinner injections every day for 3 months. Do the math. That's 180 shots. While they're not fun, she rarely complains and just gets it done. We've had a break from them this past week which has been great. Overall her doctor says that she's right where she's supposed to be.
My sincerest thanks to everyone who's been keeping her in their thoughts and prayers. It means the world to all of us. I'll never be able to thank you enough.

I have nothing but respect and great hope for her and your entire family
May the day come, soon enough, when you all walk in the park with her children on your shoulders
It's a short bridge that which connects hearts to hearts
We're with you, in thoughts and in spirit
