So BMW have been consistently fusing the kidney grilles together on their entire lineup for the past few years because it looks more "solid", "bold", "iconic"... Yet they're now separating the grilles back and getting rid of the grille surround altogether on the M models because, let me guess, it looks more... "sporty", "raw", "pure", "essential", "unadulterated"... Correct? Yeah makes perfect sense
