My wife primarily drives the Y. The one thing that Tesla got right which no one really talks about is the really quick steering ratio and overall steering feel. Every time in jump in the Y, it makes me wish the M3 had the same steering feel. Also driving a car with such low cog is really nice as well. I tell people, it's the ultimate DD/errand car.
I think the steering feel on my Y Performance is great mainly because of the small diameter steering wheel. BMW wheels feel huge in comparison, and a bit worse in tight corners.
