I’m in the UK and went with the carbon pack on my G82 (and recently ordered G80), which includes the external carbon pack and the bucket seats and is about a £7k option
However I wanted a carbon front splitter but wasn’t willing to pay for the OEM BMW M Performance one at about £1.6k so bought an aftermarket CF one for £800 in a Christmas sale in 2022, which was normally £1k RRP (from R44 Performance)
It looks great on the car, the CF weave matches the external OEM CF, fitment is great and general quality is perfectly good, while saving myself £800 in the process
There are definitely good aftermarket options out there OP, so I don’t blame you for not going OEM if you’re looking to divert cash elsewhere, there are definitely good value alternatives
