You can’t appreciate the benefits on a test drive. The silent operation, always being charged from home, the instant response, zipping through traffic, quick steering and low COG grow on you more over time.
What also grows are the poor materials quality (not necessarily build), the frustrating customer service, software that removes as many features as it adds, dealing with the whims of Elon and putting up with the Tesla fanatics.
If you want an EV, lease an iX.
