I chased naturally aspirated-like sound with turbo engines on more than one occasion . . . it ain’t happening. The closest I ever got was with Macan Turbo and AWE Track exhaust.
Above stated, the stock G80/82 exhaust is pretty impressive tone-wise, but a bit light on the decibel side of things.
I have learned to appreciate more of what comes from under the hood than out the tailpipe with these turbo engines. I love the sound of a wrung-out engine and, again, the S58 is very appealing to my acoustic senses.
If anything on the road sounds as good the GT350, I have yet to hear it . . . if the video below were a record, I would have worn it out by now.
