maybe that is true for some rare individual colors, but the pseudo individual colors on bmw online "build your own" all work with lane change assist it seems

I'm not sure what paints are included in individual. I have frozen deep grey on order (an M4 only option), however when I went to the configuration it flagged up the deletion immediately. My reply to OP was only to confirm they were correct about some sort of individual option delete.
I'm confused now
