His first attempt was to grind down the top and bottom of the round portion behind the badge where the screw mounts into to insert it through the grill so it would remain flush. It didn't sit to his satisfaction, so he just took off the entire bumper and turned the metal backing plate into a small horseshoe design so it fit into the grill from the rear perfectly. This was way more labor than we both thought, however it looks nice, is snug and allows me to proudly represent the organization.
