If you don't have easy access to power the Wyze battery-powered wireless cameras are a good solution. The range from the camera to the base station is reasonable but nothing special. Low light capability is ok. However, with a MicroSD card installed in the camera, you can use the offline mode to record video anywhere. As mentioned I'd place them in the garage looking at the car. For $60 it's worth a shot.
