BMW is just as guilty!!!!! Go to the configuration page on the official BMW site and enter an M build.....guess what M340, M550,M850, etc shows up and they are not true M cars. Even those cars have M badging on the console, dash, entry door sills. and on the trunk. Because of this, does not bother me if someone puts the M badge on a base car......
