I am not a 'Dude' but yes i own a RWD version.

Ofcourse when i wrote what i wrote about the AWD version being a waste of money and totally unneccesary i knew many would disagree with me.

It is just that the difference between the 2 cars is so small that in my opinion developing the 2 versions is a bit too much and therefore not really needed. Yes in the wet the difference is surely much larger, but for me that is also a non-issue because i think that no-one should do full power accelerations in the wet with cars this powerful.

But one could ofcourse also say that BMW should have just developed only the AWD version, being the better car of the both if one looks at it only by numbers and purely scientifically.......

But for me : this is likely the last real M3 (real meaning petrol powered only) in a long tradition of all RWD M3's, and the improvement the AWD brings is not large enough to switch from RWD......

So i still think that developing a AWD was perhaps a bit unneeded....

But if my RWD G80 would get stolen tomorrow and i needed to order a new one i would likely order a AWD one.
