*Speculation here* but I'm assuming that the second resonator has a merge of some sort as both 3 cylinder banks need to be merged at some point and on F8X and F97/8 it happens in the resonator - so just check that when you remove the second one, and be ready to weld in an H or X if needed. I only say this because on S55, not merging the pulses results in an even bigger doo-doo sound than stock... not advisable.
I think deleting the secondary cats will have the biggest impact on volume. There's no sensors on secondary cats on F8X or F97/8, so I assume there's no sensors on G8X. |
That's great information! If I do get the 2nd resonator delete I'll report back if there is H pipe in there. Also i checked secondary cat when the car was in the air. No sensors
