From a cost savings standpoint, this car seems to be a win... from an enthusiast perspective, it makes you wonder who this car was designed for. I won't question anything related to this car until I see the actual performance... it may be extremely good but is performance everything? If so... then the electric cars are overtaking.
On the size and weight front, I can't help but keep thinking this car is about the same as the E39/E60 M5 was.

As for whom it's designed for? I would say, unequivocally, two groups. The Chinese market and social media influencers. BMW will pay the latter to showcase and mod the car to drive sales and brand growth. Customers will do the same, blow up their car and get their warranty voided...but who cares about them!
