Your delay could be simply planning/scheduling/supply-chain changes in production. The MY22 production plan is probably very unstable, so it likely isn't anything you did.
Most people have seen delays, not always due to Individual paint. I lost out on a spot at the start of production (July) due to individual paint, almost lost out of my August start as well. In fact, my car was planned for Week 39 but then I lucked out and it started a month early in August. It'll be on a ship any week now.
Unfortunately, I don't have the option of European delivery otherwise I'd be making plans to go to DE
