Back when I had my F80 Comp it came with the 20s which I drove for a bit and swapped to the OEM 18s. I was hoping the ride quality would be much better but honestly it was barely any better. Strangely though I actually preferred the look of the 18s. They matched the functional sedan look of the F80. I can't speak for the G80 platform but I think the adaptive suspension really does its job well regardless of the tire diameter you are running.
Anyways what I'm trying to say the difference in ride quality may not actually be there, so go with which actually looks better to you.
